How to record your iPhone screen extremely easily
After the iOS 11 operating system was released in 2017, Apple has integrated a screen recording feature. This is a feature that, in my opinion, is very good; you don't need to install any third-party apps but can simply perform a few easy steps to easily save videos, capture interesting moments, or record useful instructional content for friends and family. You can also record your peak gaming moments to show off to your comrades.
Guide to recording your iPhone screen
To record your iPhone screen, just follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Settings and choose Control Center.
Step 2: Under MORE CONTROLS, tap the plus sign next to the Screen Recording to add it to the INCLUDE section.
Step 3: Access the Control Center by either tapping the virtual Home button or swiping to open the Control Center, and then tap the Screen Recording button. After that, there will be a 3-2-1 countdown, and your screen will begin recording.
To stop recording, if you have an iPhone 8 Plus or below, swipe up the Control Center and tap the Screen Recording button again. For iPhone X and above, tap the time in the top left corner; a notification will pop up asking if you want to stop recording. Then choose Stop on the right side.
Some notes on screen recording on iPhone:
- Your iPhone must be running iOS 11 or higher to use the screen recording feature. To check, go to Settings, then General, and select About (Version).
- The quality of the video will depend on the device; for example, a screen recording on an iPhone 7s will not be as clear as on an iPhone 11.
- To see if the screen recording feature is working, look for the time bar at the top of the screen.
- To view your recorded video, go to the Photos app under the Videos album.
