CMF Buds Pro 2 Officially Launched: Top-Notch Noise Cancellation, Extremely Attractive Price
CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, has just introduced its new wireless noise-canceling earbuds, the CMF Buds Pro 2. The design retains the orange, dark gray, and light gray color options from the first generation, with the addition of a vibrant new blue option. More importantly, the Pro version finally includes the smart knob-equipped charging case that CMF Buds introduced last year.
The CMF Buds Pro 2 comes with a lightweight charging case featuring a rotary knob for volume control, which can be customized for functions like noise-canceling mode, music playback, and track skipping. It can also activate voice assistants, answer or end calls, mute the microphone, and switch to low-latency mode. Users also have the option to permanently disable the rotary knob to avoid accidental touches, and all settings can be managed through the Nothing X app.
The CMF Buds Pro 2 boasts a dual-driver audio system with an 11mm bass driver and a 6mm tweeter. These earbuds support active noise cancellation and transparency mode, along with Hi-Res Audio certification for spatial audio capabilities. Bass performance can be further personalized through the Nothing X app. Each earbud is equipped with three microphones and Nothing's Clear Voice 2.0 Technology to reduce call noise, ensuring crystal-clear voice quality.
The CMF Buds Pro 2 is equipped with a 60mAh battery in each earbud and a 460mAh battery in the charging case, providing impressive battery life. Official figures indicate talk time ranges from 18.6 hours to 25 hours (with the charging case), depending on noise-canceling settings and audio codecs. Music playback time also varies, offering up to 43 hours (with the charging case) when noise canceling and AAC encoding are turned off. Fast charging provides 3 hours of music playback (with noise canceling off) with just 10 minutes of charging, and up to 7 hours when using the charging case. With noise canceling on, these numbers drop to 1.8 hours and 6 hours, respectively.
The CMF Buds Pro 2 is positioned as a budget-friendly option in the TWS noise-canceling earbuds market. They will be available later this month through the official website cmf.tech and other retailers, priced at approximately $60.
