Earning money online with Google Adsense

There are many ways to make money online, but not all of them are sustainable in the long run. I regard earning money with Google Adsense as a method that can help enhance your daily income quite steadfastly. Those who are not sure about how to participate, please read the following article!

I. What is Google Adsense?

Google Adsense is an advertising network developed by Google. It is a combination of advertisements run by businesses and individuals on Google Ads and those who want to promote ads on their Websites or YouTube.

Google will be the intermediary making sure the ads run from Google Ads achieve the best effectiveness and deduct a portion of the cost from Google Ads to pay those who have promoted those ads.

II. How does Google pays for Google Adsense

Google pays based on two main factors:

• Views of ads per 1000 times
• Each ad click

III. Requirements to Participate in Google Adsense

There are two types of Google Adsense accounts: Hosted and Content.

This article focuses on the Google Adsense Content account.

For Google Adsense Content account:

• You need a website that has been active for some time and has a certain amount of traffic.
• You need a Google Adsense account

IV. Experience in Registering for Google Adsense

This is based on my experience of successful registration. Of course, this is the orthodox way, I know many of you use tricks to still get registered successfully, but those types of accounts die very easily. It’s best to register by yourself, only when you’re super bitter then you might consider buying one.

Factors for Successful Google Adsense Registration

• Your website has been active for at least 5 months
• Your website must be SEO Onpage standard.
• Your website content must not be copied from other sites.
• Website content must not violate Google's policies. Refer to Google's policy here.

Note: Corporate or e-commerce websites can still register as long as the above four factors are met. I have tried this and succeeded.

V. Guide to Register for Google Adsense

When registering for Google Adsense, remember:

• The email must be one without a Google Adsense account, even a Google Adsense Hosted.
• The browser has not logged into any other Google Adsense account. Best to clear all cache, history, and even reset your Wifi modem. If you’re using 3G then ignore this step.
• The registration email should be clean, and it’s best to create a new email just for registration just to be safe.

During registration, Google will provide a piece of code, you just have to paste it on your website and wait for Google to approve it. A lot of people fail at this step, if you're lucky enough to get approved then congratulations :)).

After getting approved, don’t rejoice just yet, you still have one more step, which is to verify personal information and verify your account. When you earn your first $10, Google will send you an email for you to upload your personal documents for verification. The documents can be a driver's license or an ID card, most often the latter.

Note when uploading verification documents:

• The information must match the registration information, if not, go to the administration section to change it to match your ID card.
• The image must be clear
• You could use paint to merge 2 images into one or upload one side only.

Most people succeed at this step. After successful personal information verification, Google will automatically send you a letter containing a pin code via postal mail to the verified address. Your job is to wait about 10 days to receive the letter and use the pin to verify your address.

After successful pin entry, you can be completely assured about your account and start focusing on making money from Google Adsense.

VI. How to make money from Google Adsense

To make money from Google Adsense, your website needs a lot of traffic. Some ways to attract more traffic includes:

• SEO keywords: this, in my opinion, is the most steady method but requires a lot of mental investment. I will try to write a guide in future articles.
• Attract traffic from social networking sites.
• Run advertisements.
