Leaked Design of Galaxy S25 Ultra: Rounded Corners, Slim Bezels, Excellent Grip
While the exterior may not look drastically different, the Galaxy S25 Ultra promises to deliver a noticeably improved in-hand experience compared to previous Galaxy S models.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung’s next flagship, is not expected to be officially launched until January 2025. However, the design of the device has recently been revealed by well-known leaker @OnLeaks.
From the images below, the Galaxy S25 Ultra does not appear to differ much from its predecessor’s design, but it still brings a major change that enhances overall comfort.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra features a flat glass design on both the front and back, with more rounded corners, moving away from the sharp edges seen in previous generations. This will significantly improve the overall grip and handling experience.
On the front, the Galaxy S25 Ultra sports a 6.9-inch display with a centered punch-hole front camera. The bezels around the display appear thinner compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. On the back, the Galaxy S25 Ultra continues to feature four cameras and an LED flash in a familiar layout.
A recent report indicates that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a thickness of 8.2 mm, which is 0.4 mm thinner than its predecessor. It measures 162.8 mm in height and 77.6 mm in width, compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra's 162.3 mm by 79 mm dimensions. Overall, the Galaxy S25 Ultra looks like a more compact, sleeker, and refined version of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, with flat edges, rounded corners, and slimmer bezels.
What to Expect from the Galaxy S25 Ultra?
Previous reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, with 12GB/16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. In terms of cameras, it is expected to feature a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, two 50MP telephoto cameras with 3X and 5X zoom, and a 12MP selfie camera.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will ship with One UI 7.1, based on Android 15, and will receive 7 years of Android OS updates. One UI 7.1 will bring powerful AI features, an improved user interface design, and smoother animations.
