Casio WS-B1000: The Perfect Blend of Traditional Watch and Smartwatch
Casio recently launched the new WS-B1000 sports watch in several European countries, including the Netherlands, France, and Spain. The product was first introduced in June but has only recently become available in select markets.
The WS-B1000 features a sporty design with an LCD screen and LED backlight. The watch comes equipped with basic functions such as a step counter, a 1/100-second stopwatch, and memory for up to 200 measurements. Users can set step goals ranging from 1,000 to 50,000 steps and track their progress.
With Bluetooth connectivity to smartphones, the WS-B1000 allows for automatic time updates, time zone adjustments, control of up to five alarms, and phone search functions. Additionally, step count and time data can be synchronized between the watch and the app.
The most notable feature of the WS-B1000 is its impressive battery life, lasting up to 2 years—far surpassing most smartwatches on the market today. This ensures users can enjoy the watch without worrying about frequent recharging.
The WS-B1000 comes with a perforated urethane strap and is water-resistant up to 100 meters. The watch measures 46.2 x 41.3 x 11.6 mm and weighs only 36g. It is priced at $55.95. In the U.S. market, the blue WS-B1000-2AV variant is currently available at a discounted price of $45.95.
With its durable design, useful features, and impressive battery life, the Casio WS-B1000 is a compelling choice for those seeking a watch that is both stylish and practical.
