Huawei Launches Ultra-Compact 100W Fast Charger with GaN Technology

The fast-charging market continues to heat up as Huawei officially introduces the All-in-One Multi-Port Charger with an impressive 100W power output. With its compact design and advanced GaN technology, this product promises to be an ideal companion for your mobile devices.

The charger features a standard design with a white plastic casing and foldable prongs. This makes the charger easy to store and carry, particularly convenient for frequent travelers. Besides the foldable prongs, the overall design of the charger doesn't bring much novelty.

Huawei focuses on charging efficiency with "dual-channel current-sharing architecture" and "Gallium Nitride" (GaN) technology. These elements, combined with graphite cooling, deliver powerful charging performance in a compact size.

The highlight of the charger lies in its port arrangement. It has a USB-A port paired with a USB-C port, which Huawei refers to as a Fusion interface. Additionally, there is a separate USB-C port.

The charger supports common charging protocols such as PD/PPS/QC, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices. In terms of power delivery, it provides a 100W output from a single port. When using both ports simultaneously, there are four different power combination options:

• 88W Max (USB-A/C1) + 18W Max (USB-C2)
• 66W Max (USB-A/C1) + 40W Max (USB-C2)
• 40W Max (USB-A/C1) + 66W Max (USB-C2)
• 18W Max (USB-A/C1) + 88W Max (USB-C2)

This is not Huawei's first foray into GaN chargers. The company's existing "SuperPower Wall Charger" offers a maximum output of 88W, indicating that the 100W model may be positioned as a more premium product.

Priced at 349 yuan (approximately $48), the Huawei All-in-One Multi-Port Charger is an attractive option for users seeking a fast, compact, and versatile charging solution at an affordable price.
