Suunto Race S: A Premium Sports Watch for Athletes
Suunto has officially launched its latest model, the Suunto Race S, in Vietnam. The product stands out with its impressive battery life and the inclusion of free global offline maps.
The Suunto Race S is designed with a focus on user convenience and comfort. It features a 45 mm watch face and a 1.32-inch AMOLED touchscreen with high resolution, providing a clear display even in bright sunlight or low-light conditions.
Built to endure challenging environments, the Suunto Race S's battery life is a notable strength. In multi-band GPS training mode, the watch can operate for up to 40 hours. In Tour mode, with low GPS accuracy and heart rate monitoring turned off, the battery life can extend to 120 hours. For everyday use, with the always-on display (AOD) and daily heart rate monitoring enabled, the watch can last up to 5 days.
The Suunto Race S uses a multi-band GNSS positioning system, ensuring accurate location tracking even in harsh environments. The watch’s navigation features have been improved with the ability to zoom in on detailed maps and clearer turn-by-turn notifications, displayed only at the bottom of the screen without occupying the entire watch face. This allows users to easily follow their route without interruption. Additionally, the offline map feature and navigation help users avoid getting lost during their training sessions.
The Suunto Race S is not just a sports watch but also a reliable companion for health tracking. It includes health monitoring features such as SPO2 measurement (blood oxygen levels), HRV tracking (heart rate variability), and sleep tracking. Daily activity metrics, sleep data, and workout details are also displayed in the Suunto app, providing users with an overview of their health data.
